VNGGAMES COMMUNITY STANDARDS

I. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to VNGGames, the world of games provided by VNG Corporation and its

subsidiaries, member companies of VNG Group (hereinafter collectively referred to as

“VNGGames” or “We”).

VNGGames provides a wide variety of games: ranging from games where you can immerse

yourself in our own world to multi-player games (which promote teamwork and allow you to

interact with many other players) such as esports or those in which hundreds of players can

participate simultaneously.

“Player experience” is one of the most crucial factors and primary priority at VNGGames. We

constantly strive to ensure you feel comfortable while experiencing any game in the

VNGGames ecosystem.

We understand that in addition to guaranteeing the quality of each game and the technical

infrastructure, maintaining a community of players who are civilized, well-mannered and

behave appropriately with respect for other players is essential to ensure you have the greatest

possible gaming experience.

Hundreds of millions of players worldwide trust and participate in VNGGames ecosystem

every day; during the gaming experience, only a single negative behavior or speech from any

player might spoil your fantastic time, or You might unintentionally do the same to other

players (that you might not be aware of beforehand).

As a result, VNGGames has created and published this VNGGames Community Standards so

that you and all players can understand and have appropriate behaviors while enjoying

VNGGames’ games, with the ultimate objective of creating a varied, civilized and secure

player community.

II. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

This VNGGames Community Standards shall be applied to all games provided by VNGGames

worldwide, as well as any events or competitions that use VNGGames’ s games, whether or

not they are organized by VNGGames.

III. CONDUCT STANDARDS

1. Violations of Law

Any act of yours that uses or exploits the game to commit an illegal act is strictly

prohibited.

These acts including (but not limited to) using the game for:

(a) money laundering and terrorist financing;

(b) fraudulent appropriation of property;

gambling is permitted by the local law; gambling also includes using results or

agreements to fix the outcome or score of any match in any game mode of any

game provided by VNGGames;

(d) promulgating or inciting violence, obscenity, depravity, crime, social evils,

superstition;

(e) disclosure secret information related to military, security, economic, diplomatic

and other confidential information belonging to individuals or organizations;

(f) providing/sharing information with the aims of distorting, slandering or

damaging the prestige, honor and dignity of other organizations or individuals;

(g) advertising, propagating, trading in prohibited goods or services; disseminating

prohibited journalistic products, literature, art, publications;

(h) impersonating other organizations or individuals;

(i) spreading fake or false information;

(j) any other act that is considered as a violation under the law of the nation or

territory where you are playing game.

2. Politics and Religion

VNGGames always respects the freedom of speech of each player; however, discussing

politics or religion in-game can cause substantial conflicts among players, which can

spoil the player experience and the intended objective of enjoyment and relaxation.

Any act, speech, either direct or indirect, or playing on words, that refers to any political

or religious matter, whether it has happened, is happening, or could happen in the future,

is strictly prohibited.

The political and religious matters including (but not limited to) those following

topics/issues/events:

(a) political parties and their affiliated bodies, party members;

(b) presidents, heads of government, heads of agencies under ministries,

committees, and branches at all levels;

nations;

(d) territorial and sovereignty disputes between nations or territories;

(e) actions taken by the Governments or the Executive authorities towards any

individual or organization;

(f) using or infringing on the name, national flag or national anthem of any country,

either in whole or in readily identifiable part;

(g) using or infringing on the name, flag or symbol of any political party, either in

whole or in part;

(h) religious events, behaviors or speeches of religious believers or religious

organizations;

(i) using or infringing on any symbol of any religious organization, either in whole

or in part.

3. Terrorism and Violent Extremism

We believe that everyone has the right to live in a safe and healthy online environment;

any content or behavior that incites, condones, supports, glorifies or promotes any

terrorist or extremist organization or individual (foreign or domestic), as well as their

ideologies and actions are strictly prohibited.

Behaviors related to terrorism and violent extremism including (but not limited to):

(a) depictions of or support for terrorist or extremist attacks;

(b) depictions of or support for the leaders or representatives of terrorist or

extremist organizations;

organizations, either in whole or in readily identifiable part;

(d) references to the ideologies, messages, or strategies of terrorist and extremist

organizations;

(e) expressing support, condoning, or glorifying terrorist extremist ideologies or

actions;

(f) recruiting membership for a terrorist or extremist organization, or encouraging

others to leave VNGGames to find such information;

(g) fundraising for terrorist or extremist organizations, people, or supporting

groups;

(h) expressing support, condoning, or glorifying mass shootings and other acts of

worldwide terrorism or violent extremism.

4. Threats, Bullying and Harassment

Any and all acts of bullying, threats and harassment against other players, especially

children, whether in-game, online, or offline, are strictly prohibited to ensure a safe and

secure environment for all VNGGames players.

Behaviors or speeches that depicts, glorifies, or promotes bullying, threats and

harassment are equally prohibited.

Threats, bullying and harassment including (but not limited to):

(a) threatening to attack or using physical, mental, or sexual violence against other

players and/or their family members;

(b) attempting to seek or solicit the address or location of other players with the

intent to harm them;

(d) threatening to take over VNGGames account of other players or abusing the

reporting against other players;

(e) singling out a player or group for ridicule or abuse, either publicly or privately;

(f) sexual harassment, whether through actions, verbal abuse, or the use of

suggestive symbols;

(g) impersonating individuals, groups, or entities, in ways that may damage their

reputation or cause others to harm them.

5. Suicide, Self Injury, and Harmful Behavior

The life and well-being of each player, both physically and mentally, is VNGGames’

top priority.

To ensure the players always have fun and remain optimistic while experiencing, all

contents or behaviors that depicts, glorifies, or promotes suicide, self-injury and/or

other real-world activities can cause a risk of physical or mental harm to players are

strictly prohibited at VNGGames, including (but not limited to):

(a) describing methods for suicide or self-harm;

(b) content that glorifies, supports, or depicts instances or methods of suicide or

self-harm;

or mental challenges that are dangerous or threaten a risk to harm people in real

world.

6. Discrimination

VNGGames welcomes users of all ages, ethnicities, religions and genders; the diversity

of each individual contributes a better world; therefore, all players are welcome and

deserve to be respected.

Any discriminatory behavior towards any player or group based on the differences (as

listed below) is strictly prohibited:

(a) name, age;

(b) nations, territories;

(d) gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression;

(e) religion or religious affiliation or beliefs;

(f) physical or mental disability status;

(g) marital status;

(h) place of study or work.

7. Insulting Speech

At VNGGames, you have access to all the tools, infrastructure, and features needed to

easily connect and communicate with other players in the game. All in-game

interactions should be civilized, polite, and respectful in order to maintain a good

experience for all players and create a civilized community.

Any form of curse, insulting, hateful or abusive words in any languages are strictly

prohibited in all VNGGames’ games. These behaviors can be expressed through

different forms, such as writing (chat text), including intentional misspelling, speech

(voice), in-game actions or its combination, the use of special characters or icons, or a

combination of both, or the use of music, lyrics, or the combination of the

aforementioned forms to offend others.

8. Cheating

Games are created and offered to players for enjoyment, besides that, players can also

acquire experience and learn useful abilities while playing games. Therefore, any action

taken against the game's regulations and features with the intention of giving other

players unfair advantage is defined as cheating.

Cheating including (but not limited to):

(a) hacking, illegally accessing, or interfering in the game and/or other player's

account, either by oneself or through others;

(b) using devices, software, or applications without VNGGames’s permission to

manipulate, control Your account or other player’s account, or interfere in the

game in any way;

connection, either by oneself or through others;

(d) exploiting game bugs or security vulnerabilities to gain an unfair advantage;

(e) inducing, threatening, bribing or suggesting any player to lose or underperform

in any match in any game mode of any game;

(f) disclosing or unauthorized accessing information about the matches, manners,

plans, strategies of team, group, or guild for any competitive activities or

features of the game.

9. Unsporting Behaviours

The thrill of competition in games and sports comes from (i) the unpredictable

outcomes; and (ii) the players’ s attempt to win.

Dropping out of competitive match, underperforming, including collusion with

opponents, in any game mode, either individually or as a team (guild), either in whole

or in a part of the match of any VNGGames’s game, is considered as unsporting

behaviours and shall be disciplined in order to ensure experience of other players and

spectators.

10. Naming rules of Username, Account Name and Guild Name

Your username, account name and guild name are your personal identity within the

game. You can express your desires and personality through your character, guild

names. However, you must not violate the following prohibited regulations:

(a) using the names containing prohibited content as specified in the VNGGames

Community Standards and/or the Terms of Use;

(b) using the names of heads of the party, state or government;

(d) impersonating someone else;

(e) using the names of VNGGames’s management board or misleading people into

believing you are a staff, employee or partner of VNGGames;

(f) using the names violating morality or cultural norms and values;

(g) using the names referring to sensitive human body parts;

(h) using the names to provoke, mock, or insult others.

10.1. Additional Ruling name for Thailand Resident

If you are Thailand resident or you are playing VNGGames games published in Thailand,

additional naming rules are applied to you. You must not use the names that are prohibited by

Thai law or address/be associated with the royal family, or be similar to the name of a Thai

ministry or government department, politics, religion, monarchy, or be misleading, or violate

Thai public morals.

10.2. Additional Ruling name for Indonesia Resident

If you are Indonesian resident or you are playing VNGGames games published in Indonesia,

additional naming rules are applied to you. You must not use the names that are prohibited by

Indonesian law or address Indonesia ministry, government department, politics, religion,

monarchy, or be misleading, or violate Indonesian public morals.

10.3. Additional Ruling name for Philippines Resident

If you are Philippines resident or you are playing VNGGames games published in the

Philippines, additional naming rules are applied to you. You must not use the names that are

prohibited by Philippines law or include:

• Misleading Terms: Avoid terms that are misleading or imply activities not allowed by

Philippines law.

• Government Affiliation: Do not use words that suggest affiliation with government

agencies or international organizations.

• Offensive Language: Avoid words or phrases that are offensive, immoral, or contrary

to public policy.

11. Advertising

Advertising within games not only can be annoying to others but also may violate the

law (for example, advertising prohibited or restricted products and services). Therefore,

advertising within VNGGames, especially advertising prohibited or restricted products

and services, and/or advertising, buying, or selling virtual currencies, items, or accounts

is strictly prohibited.

12. Spam

In order to support and facilitate connections and interactions among players,

VNGGames provides features and channels that allow multiple players to chat,

communicate, and comment with each other in our games; for example, community

channels, world channels, friend channels… (“Community Channel”).

Your repeated messages or comments, or other form of disruptive content (“Spam”),

whether in text, voice, sound, or symbols to Community Channels, shall negatively

impact the experience of other players. To maintain the best experience for all players,

VNGGames strictly prohibits Spam in Community Channels.

IV. AMENDMENTS

1. We believe that the VNGGames player community will continue to grow, and We shall

constantly learn, monitor, and update the VNGGames Community Standards to ensure

that VNGGames player community stays a civilized and safe community for everyone.

2. You agree that VNGGames is entitled to update, amend, supplement the VNGGames

Community Standards at any time without your prior consent. However, We shall

notify you of any changes so that you can adjust your behavior accordingly (if any).

V. HANDLING MECHANISM

1. In case you violate this VNGGames Community Standards, depending on the severity,

VNGGames may, at its discretion, apply one or more of the following disciplinary

measures:

(a) warning;

(b) temporarily or permanently banning certain in-game features;

the severity and violation);

(d) permanently suspending account;

(e) revoking rewards or achievements related to the violation.

2. In case you/your account is subject to the measures as specified in Point 1 above,

VNGGames shall not be liable for any refunds or compensation.

3. In certain case and in accordance with the local laws, VNGGames is entitled to provide

your personal information and/or evidence of your actions collected by VNGGames to

competent authorities for other necessary legal measures.

VI. COMPLAINTS AND REPORTS

1. If you experience any inappropriate behavior from other players, please report to

VNGGames by (i) using in-game customer support feature; (ii) contacting VNGGames’

customer support team here. VNGGames shall review your reports and take appropriate

actions in accordance with VNGGames Community Standards.

2. If you believe any disciplinary measures taken against your account are mistaken or

incorrect, you have right to complain to VNGGames’ customer support team here.

VII. EFFECTIVENESS

This VNGGames Community Standards takes effect from the date it is published by

VNGGames or referenced in VNGGames’ s Terms of Use.
